1. Integrate Clear Books with AutoEntry
1.1 Using an existing AutoEntry account
1.1.1 Navigate to Settings > Organisation > Details & Tax.
1.1.2 Click on the API tab and make a note of your API Key which will be used in Step 6.
1.1.3 Login to your AutoEntry account.
1.1.4 Click on the Company Settings button.
1.1.5 Select the Integration tab and click on the Connect button beside Clear Books.
1.1.6 Add your Clear Books API and hit the Connect button.
1.2 registering a new AutoEntry account
1.2.1 Navigate to Settings > Organisation > Details & Tax.
1.2.2 Click on the API tab and make a note of your API Key which will be used in Step 5.
1.2.4 Follow the on-screen instructions to register the account.
1.2.6 Enter your unique Clear Books API key and click Connect.
1.2.7 Complete the rest of the AutoEntry registration.
2. Process and publish purchases into Clear Books
2.1 Use the Upload button on the Purchases box to upload receipts into AutoEntry.
2.2 Click on the Inbox link within the Purchases box.
2.3 Click on the blue icon under the VIEW column.
3. Process and publish sales into Clear Books
3.1 Use the Upload button on the Sales box to upload receipts to AutoEntry.
3.2 Click on the inbox link within the Sales box.
3.3 Click on the blue icon under the VIEW column.
1. Integrate Clear Books with AutoEntry
AutoEntry automates data entry by accurately capturing all of your invoices, receipts and statements and uploading them directly into your Clear Books account.
No more manual data entry of invoices, receipts, bills or statements. Simply email, scan and upload, or snap with the AutoEntry mobile app.
1.1 Using an existing AutoEntry account

1.2.3 Head to the AutoEntry website. Sign up as either an Accountant & Bookkeeper or as a Small-Medium Business.
1.2.4 Follow the on-screen instructions to register the account.
1.2.5 When you reach the Integration menu within the registration process, click on the Connect button beside Clear Books.
1.2.6 Enter your unique Clear Books API key and click Connect.
1.2.7 Complete the rest of the AutoEntry registration.
2. Process and publish purchases into Clear Books
2.1 Use the Upload button on the Purchases box to upload receipts into AutoEntry.
Once purchases have been uploaded they will begin processing and appear on the Activity link.
2.2 Click on the Inbox link within the Purchases box.
You will be emailed as soon as the uploaded purchases have finished processing.
2.3 Click on the blue icon under the VIEW column.
2.4 Fill in the required details of the form and hit the Publish button to create the bill in Clear Books.
The purchases that have been uploaded successfully into Clear Books will be marked as published within the Inbox in AutoEntry.
3. Process and publish sales into Clear Books
3.1 Use the Upload button on the Sales box to upload receipts to AutoEntry.
Once the Sales have been uploaded they will begin processing and appear on the Activity link. You will be emailed as soon as the uploaded sales have finished processing.
3.2 Click on the inbox link within the Sales box.
3.3 Click on the blue icon under the VIEW column.
3.4 Fill in the required details of the form and hit the Publish button to create the bill in Clear Books.
The Sales that have been uploaded successfully into Clear Books will be marked as published within the Inbox in AutoEntry.
