The top 5 list is a dashboard widget which allows you to select up to 5 nominal accounts to report on.
You can customise the dashboard to show the Top 5 list widget.
Click on the Manage account codes link within the widget and you will be redirected to the chart of accounts on the Settings > Accounting > Account codes menu.
You can select a nominal account as a favourite to appear on the Top 5 list by clicking on the star icon.
Back on the Dashboard > Overview menu, the Top 5 list widget will display a table showing the balance of the past 5 months for each nominal account that you have added as a favourite.
You can also view a graph of each account by selecting it in the drop-down box.
If you click on any of the balance amounts, you will be redirected to a transaction report showing the transactions that make up this balance.
