Recurring bills are a great feature which can save a huge amount of time. Recurring bills generate from a recurring template, based on the template date and frequency. 

Step 1.

Navigate to the Purchases > Recurring menu and click on the Create recurring bill template button.

Step 2.

Enter details of the recurring bill template.

The recurring invoice form is similar to the usual Clear Books invoice form except there are some added fields:


Select the frequency at which bills are generated.

Create bill as

Choose whether to create the recurring bill as a draft or as an approved (unpaid) bill.


Enter the number of bills that should recur from this template.

Step 3.

Click on the Save button to confirm the recurring template.
