Company details are stored on the Organisation Settings page together with your invoicing, accounting and system preferences.

Step 1.

Navigate Settings > Organisation > Details.

Step 2.

Fill in your company details; below is a break down of each of the sections that need to be filled in about your organisation.

What the fields mean


Name of company or organisation.


Select the type of organisation you are setting up Clear Books for.


Select the organisation's industry.

Company Number

Enter the company number.

Contact Name

Enter the company contact name.

Make sure you fill in your trading details correctly as these will appear on your invoices.

Registered address

If your registered address is different from your trading address please enter it here. This will appear at the bottom of your invoices.

Step 3.

Check details are entered correctly and click the Save Changes button.
